MAYSO Volunteers

MAYSO has both administrative volunteer roles and field focused volunteer opportunities.
ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST REGISTER AND COMPLETE 2 HOURS THROUGH MICHELLE IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THE VOLUNTEER FEE REFUND

Available Administrative roles -

• Uniform Coordinator - This person is tasked with overseeing the handing out of all uniforms in the club. It is up to this person to make sure they are ordered correctly and on time. This person is tasked with coordinating with coaches and parents to make sure that every player receives a uniform.
  
• Event Planners - There are many events and fundraisers that take place during the seasons. We need a team of volunteers that are willing to coordinate these events. This can be done off the field. 

Available Field roles - 

• Field Setup - Persons will need to arrive at the field one (1) hour before the first games are scheduled to setup goals, corner flags, and sponsor banners
• Field Breakdown - Persons will need to lock up goals and put away corner flags and sponsor banners after the last game of the day is completed.
• Field Marking 
• Coaching/Co-Coaching

  Starting Spring 2016 all registered families are required to pay a Volunteer fee per family per season. This fee will be added to the players registration.
  
  Magic families $40.00 or 4 hours over the course of their season ( August - April )
  Recreational families $50.00 or 2 hours over the course of their seasons ( Fall or Spring )
  
  At the end of the season MAYSO will compile the list of completed Volunteer hours. We will send out an email with a $50 Coupon for the next seasons registration. A check can also be mailed out if you are not planning to play the next season.
