Competitive Information

2025-2026 Manatee Magic Tryout Dates and Times. There is ZERO cost in trying out for our competitive program. Register today for the opportunity to join one of Florida's most historic youth soccer programs. Registration is now open. Please register so we have an idea of how many players will be in attendance.

2015 Boys: May 19 & 21
2014 Boys & Girls: May 19 & 21
2013 Boys: May 20 & 22
2011 Boys: May 15 &16
2008-2009 Boys: May 20 & 23

Players may request to play up in age group by presenting a "PLAYING-UP" Written Request during check-in of their True Age Group on tryout night. If you've been playing up, just contact your coach that you intend to continue playing up.

If your age group is not listed and you would like to tryout. Please bring a "PLAYING-UP" Written Request to the check-in stand on TBD.

PLAYING-UP Request must include:
--- Player's Full name
--- Date of Birth
--- Requested playing up Age Group
--- Soccer history
--- Parent contact information: Phone number and Email address

Magic 2025 - 2026

Manatee Magic Competitive Travel Soccer 2025-2026 Season.

We offer a competitive soccer program for ages 10 through 16 years of age for both Boys and Girls. Tryouts will be held at G.T. Bray date: TBD with a rain out date of TBD. Each age group will have their own tryout date. There is no fee to tryout for a Manatee Magic team. Players will register to age groups based on the year they were born following FYSA/US Soccer guidelines. Players are allowed to tryout for older age groups by providing a written request during check-in. THE PLAYER MUST ATTEND THEIR TRUE AGE GROUP TRYOUT FIRST.

The Manatee Magic soccer season is a 10 - 12 month commitment. Practices will occur on average twice a week, some higher level teams may practice 3+ times a week. Each team will play 10 - 20+ games throughout the year including tournaments. Manatee Magic teams do have to travel to play opponents, at times traveling up to an hours or so away. Hotel stays are only recommended for weekend tournaments.

If the player is selected to a team, they will receive a phone call from the team coach, and an acceptance email will be sent to the player to complete registration and begin the payment process.

Manatee Magic 2025-2026 registration fee is $550.00. The registration fee covers: Licensed trainers / coaches, Field and light rental, Player insurance, one (1) league entrance, and one (1) state tournament. Uniform purchases are the responsibility of the parent.

Any additional trainers, tournaments or leagues a team participates in are at the cost of the team. If a team is coached by a non-parent, the team is responsible to cover the coaches hotel stay during tournaments.
